Mia Teknoloji Signs Initial Deal in Autonomous Logistics
$46.6 billion in global market size lies ahead for the autonomous trucking and logistics sector, where a domestic move has arrived. MIA Teknoloji (MIATK), through its subsidiary Tripy Mobility Teknoloji A.S., announced that it has begun strategic cooperation talks with an international technology company developing Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving and logistics vehicles. The parties signed initial agreements to evaluate potential commercial partnerships in autonomous logistics and RoboVan technologies.
What are the scope and partnership areas of the RoboVan project?
The foreign partner at the center of the talks carries out joint projects with global giants such as DHL, Alibaba, Emirates Post, IKEA, and Toyota through its autonomous driving software, artificial intelligence infrastructure, fleet management, and operational integration capabilities. As part of the process, along with RoboVan procurement, the establishment of autonomous logistics operations, and software integration, manufacturing and local assembly opportunities in Turkey will also be put on the table. The evaluations cover commercializable solutions for urban logistics, last-mile delivery, airports, and industrial facilities in Turkey, Europe, and Gulf countries.
What was the impact of the deal on the MIA Teknoloji portfolio and the stock?
This step is a direct continuation of the mobility ecosystem the company has built through its robotaxi, micromobility, and charging station investments. Indeed, on October 15, in a public housing project in Karabuk, Tripy Mobility signed a 5-year charging station contract with projected revenue of 21.6 million lira (TRY), and on October 23, it was accepted for membership in the international autonomous vehicle cooperation platform PAVE Europe. Following the announcement of the deal, shares of the company, which made its 11th KAP (Public Disclosure Platform) notification in the last 30 days, traded at a 3.46% premium at 26.90 lira. While intraday trading volume stood at 61.77 million lira, the stock is hovering at 18% of its 52-week price range.
